Paramedic Program Admission Policy
 
Admissions:

The applicant must:

1.    Be an EMT graduate of a state-approved course, with at least six months of field experience.
2.    Have a current State or National Registry EMT card.
3.    Submit test scores from the SAT, ACT, or Compass exam.
4.    Submit two (2) letters of professional recommendation to the program.
5.    Submit any additional professional development, college courses, and other EMS related achievements since completing the EMT-Basic course. These are reviewed and will be considered during the admission process.
6.    The student must attain a 2.0 GPA or better in each semester in all required subjects in order to progress in the program.
7.    Clinical sites may require a complete physical along with information regarding immunizations, drug screen and a criminal background check.
