About Jan-Care
More than five decades of service, growth, education, and compassionate patient care.
A legacy of service
Jan-Care began in 1970 with one ambulance and a commitment to quality patient care. The organization grew from a family-run operation into the largest EMS provider in West Virginia while maintaining a service-first philosophy.
At the heart of Jan-Care is an innate desire to serve. That commitment is reflected in compassionate patient care, leadership within EMS, education, and community involvement.
Jan-Care takes pride not only in major emergency responses, but in the everyday moments that make a frightened, injured, or lonely patient feel safe and cared for.
