Jan-Care supports EMS professionals, healthcare providers, employees, and community partners through a range of training programs.
Getting Started / EMVO
Entry-level training can include Emergency Medical Vehicle Operator instruction covering mass-casualty awareness, hazardous materials, first aid, CPR, driving, and ride-along experience.
Emergency Medical Technician
Jan-Care offers a 165-hour hybrid EMT course combining online learning, face-to-face labs, and ride time. Employee training pathways may include books, course materials, exam and certification fees.
Advanced EMT & Paramedic
Jan-Care partners with Mountwest Community & Technical College for hybrid Advanced EMT and Paramedic training. Applicants to the paramedic pathway must already be certified EMTs.
CPR / BLS
Healthcare CPR is available through hybrid learning and skills check-offs. Jan-Care is an American Heart Association Training Center.
ACLS
Hybrid Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses and skills check-offs are available through the Jan-Care education program.
PHTLS
Prehospital Trauma Life Support is offered in a hybrid format with online course work and scheduled face-to-face check-offs.
Stop the Bleed
Online coursework is paired with a scheduled in-person skills check-off.
Industrial CPR & First Aid
Jan-Care can customize CPR and First Aid training for industrial and organizational needs.
